18 Spring Date Ideas

SPRING IS HERE! 🌷

There are so many things to love about spring, but some of my favorites are that the flowers are blooming, the sun will start staying up a little longer, and there are all kinds of new possibilities to connect with your fiancé. Every season brings its own unique atmosphere and we urge you to plan some dates that reflect all of the amazing things about spring!

Be intentional and make all the memories you can with your partner as you fall even deeper in love with each other.

HERE ARE 18 IDEAS TO HELP YOU GET STARTED:

  • Get tickets to a baseball game: “Take me ouuut to the baaaallgaaame” 🎶 But seriously… What beats good brews and good baseball together?

  • Spend the weekend camping out together under the stars and enjoy each other’s company! Make sure you take our book along to connect on the drive and around the fire at night.

  • Pour a glass of wine, grab an appetizer or dessert, and sit outside and enjoy the cool night air, meaningful conversation, and good company.

  • Volunteer: This is a great time to get out and volunteer at a local shelter or food bank together.

  • Go for a walk or hike: The sun is up longer now so you have plenty of time after dinner, too!

  • Go for a drive: Put your windows down, grab some iced coffee, and go for a drive together. Pro tip: Back country roads are a perfect place to fall even more in love… 😉

  • Check out your local Farmers Market: Go to your local farmers market and make lunch or dinner fresh from only the produce and items you can find there. Don’t forget your beverages and maybe dessert!

  • Go paddle boarding: If you live by the water, rent a paddle boat for the afternoon and spend time together out on the water, soaking in the sunshine.

  • Wine & paint night: You don’t have to be “good at painting” to enjoy wine and paint night. Just go and try it!

  • Saturday morning yard sale hunting: Make a bet on who can find the “best” item for $5 and see what you come up with.

  • Nearby Botanical Garden and lunch: If possible, visit a nearby Botanical Garden for the afternoon and grab lunch together. It really is a magical place!

  • Mini golf: There’s nothing quite like mini golf to bring out childlike joy and have some fun together!

  • Fishing: Fishing is one of the best dates because it gives you genuine uninterrupted quality time to connect. If you’ve never gone, I highly recommend you do some research and find a place nearby where you can try it out.

  • Dinner cruise: A dinner cruise will ensure a truly romantic evening together. Make sure you dress up!

  • Drive-in movie: Need I say more? ☺️

  • Food truck marathon: Type ‘food truck near me’ into your search engine on your desktop or phone and plan to visit 3-4 food trucks that afternoon. So fun!

  • Find a local museum + go wine tasting: This combination makes for a perfect afternoon together. Experience rich history and rich flavors together with your favorite person.

  • Go to a festival: There are all kinds of festivals these days: food festivals, music festivals, wine festivals, art festivals… Pick your favorite and check it out!
